I recently stayed at a charming cottage in a peaceful location near Corofin. The setting was idyllic, with lots of great walks nearby. The cottage itself was quaint and had a well-equipped kitchen for cooking meals. The beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed cozying up by the fireplace. it was a delightful stay.

There were a few minor drawbacks, such as the poor WiFi signal, especially in the morning, which was frustrating for the teenagers in our group. Additionally, the mattresses were quite hard, and it would have been nice to have more towels available for a group of six.

She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and dog-friendly walks. The cottages could get a bit cold in the evenings, despite the radiators and extra throws provided. We were also under the impression that the cottages were closer to the lake, but it turned out to be approximately 3 kilometers away.

We loved staying at the cute thatched cottage that took us back in time. The caretaker, Mary, was fantastic and made us feel very welcome. Sitting by the peat / coal fire at night with a glass of wine was very pleasant. The location in Corofin was perfect for exploring the area. Despite a few drawbacks, we would recommend this place for a unique and cozy experience. we had a great stay at Corofin Lake Cottages.
